Terri T. Wilton, LOTR has been practicing occupational therapy in the Baton Rouge area since her graduation from LSU School of Allied Health in 1982.  She has been with NeuroTherapy Specialists, Inc. since its inception October 1988 as part-owner and Secretary/Treasurer.  Terri’s passion for therapy is working with children and adults with neurological impairments.  She has received advanced training and certification in:  Neuro-Developmental Treatment for Adults, Administration of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests, D.I.R./Floortime for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Therapeutic Listening, Integrated Listening Systems, Brain Gym, Interactive Metronome.   Terri attended an Advanced Intensive Mentorship in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Sensory Processing Disorders – Level 1 with Lucy Jane Miller, Ph.D., OTR and Sarah Schoen, Ph.D., OTR.  Other special interests are the sensory/behavioral approaches to feeding, handwriting, and the treatment of arm and hand function in children and adults with neurological impairments, such as hemiplegia and Brachial Plexus Injuries.
