Susan S. Ducote, PT, PCS

Susan S. Ducote, PT, PCS is a Board Certified Pediatric Physical Therapist. She co-founded NeuroTherapy Specialists, Inc. in 1988 to meet the unique needs of children and adults with neurological problems. A 1978 graduate of LSU School of Allied Health Professions, Susan worked in Dallas at Presbyterian Hospital before returning to Baton Rouge. She has over 29 years experience, including a background in orthopedics, management of back pain and adult rehabilitation program as well as her specialty in pediatrics. Susan lectures regionally on Pediatric Outcomes and Assessment Tools, Spasticity Management, Physical Therapy Intervention in Down Syndrome and is a guest lecturer at LSU’s School of Physical Therapy to the Master’s and Doctoral students.

Susan is trained in NeuroDevelopmental Approach to Treatment for Adults and Children. She is further certified in TASC-Threshold Electrical Stimulation for Disuse Atrophy and became the first certified Clinical Specialist for Pediatrics in the Baton Rouge area in 1997.

Susan’s mission is to make a difference in the lives of those she touches and her philosophy of practice is to pursue excellence in all things.
